Bray Leino Activity Day

Bray Leino Activity Day

On Wednesday 15th of November, fifteen of our Y10 GCSE iMedia students were invited to Bray Leino in Filleigh to take part in an interactive, workshop based activity day.

Bray Leino  is a highly successful and forward thinking local advertising agency who employ hundreds of employees around the globe and are one of the largest, most successful advertising agencies in the country.

Our students (who were joined by sixty other students from local schools) were initially met by Sam Crocker – Managing Partner, who introduced them to the company and explained how the day would unfold.

The students were able to take part in five different sessions; These included:

Creative Sessions – Students were taught creative advertising techniques and shown how to translate them into a press ad, as well as gaining insight into how the agency scamp and present creative ideas

Digital Futures – Understanding of how AI systems serve us content and An ability to think critically about online experiences.

Campaign Game – Students gained an insight into different departments and job roles and how they work collaboratively to achieve set goals.

Production Masterclass – Where they were able to understand the process of what goes on behind the scenes when creating an advert.

Cultural Pillar Speed Networking – Students were introduced to the ‘Personality of the Organisation’  and the environment an employer creates for their employees through interactions and attitudes.

We thank Bray Leino for a fantastic day.  Afterwards every student spoke extremely highly of the experience which without doubt gave them all an amazing insight to how a successful company operates and the world of advertising.

We hope that we are invited back next year!
