This week Park School hosted its annual Careers Fair. Over twenty five exhibitors joined us for the day including amongst others; The RAF, Brend Hotels, Skern Rosie Bracher Solicitors, Perrigo, Anglo Krempel and the Engineering Trust, CMTG Innovation, Devon & Cornwall Police, Tarka Trust, North Devon Hospice, Future Smarts, Bideford College, Kingsley 6th Form, West Buckland, Petroc and Exeter College.

May I personally thank all of the exhibitors who came in to support the highly successful event. Every student in Year  9 – 11 accessed the School Hall, they found the experience informative and inspiring in equal measure, as they were able to discuss and formulate their future plans with prospective employers and places of further education. This was of particular benefit to our Year 9 pupils as they start to think about their GCSE option choices for the beginning of Year 10.

The Fair was also a source of great inspiration for our current Year 11 pupils, as they begin the process of securing their prospective college places. May I also thank all of the students who attended the Careers Fair, their participation and conduct throughout the event was exemplary, all of the exhibitors commended the students on the positive interactions and the way that they represented Park School, they were particularly impressed with their inquisitive nature and thoughtful questioning.

We look forward to hosting another Careers Fair in 2025!
