On Sunday 20th November, Jamie Schofield competed in the Buckland Junior Foil U13s Fencing Competition in Exeter. Competing on behalf of Barnstaple Fencing, Jamie faced a total of 11 foilists from Sidmouth, Wellington and Bath.

The handicap meant that Jamie started on minus 1 for each fight, resulting in one fight in which he started 3 points behind his opponent! Jamie won 9 out of his 10 fights scoring 46 points on total, only conceding 20 hits finishing on a points difference of +26.
