Year 10 and 11 are offered the chance to visit Madrid in February. The trip provides the opportunity to see Picasso’s Guernica in the Reina Sofía, a tour of Las Ventas bullring including a visit to the fascinating museum. We visit the world’s richest football club, Real Madrid and the Bernabéu stadium where students can see that having language skills in the world of sport can take you to very interesting jobs. Students are also given a chance to see the royal residence at the Palacio Real and practice their language skills with a spot of shopping. Staff only converse in Spanish and students are rewarded for use of their Spanish in a real life setting. This trip runs biannually.
