On Monday 7th November, fourteen members of the Badminton Club went to Chulmleigh to compete in the first round of the National Schools Badminton Championships. All of the players did brilliantly, demonstrating excellent determination and competitive spirit.
Our two boys teams had tough competition from the other schools and there were several close games that could have gone either way which ended in 21-20! They managed to finish 3rd and 6th overall.
Our girls team did particularly well and managed to win their competition. This means that they will progress through to the next round of the competition – well done girls!
