After a very windy trip down the back roads to Chulmleigh, Park lined up for the last game of the tournament knowing a victory was not enough to put us through to the semi-finals but that did not put off the Park team. The start was slow from Park as Chulmleigh led early on but two quick fire goals before half time from Ruben Chugg turned the tide and allowed Park to dictate the game.
Chugg got his hat-trick after the restart. The game started to get physical which suited Park and their quick passing and high tempo was too much for Chulmleigh. The woodwork got some action at both ends and with the last kick of the game Will Brennan sealed the victory.
Great attitude from the boys and with more game time, we will start Year 10 on the front foot.
