On Wednesday 24th June, we held our annual Sports Day event, it was a great day of athletics – some really exciting races, records broken and the weather was lovely! All in all a fantastic sports day.

Overall Kingsley House were the winners, despite Drake winning Inter boys, Inter girls and Junior boys.

Samantha Phillips (F) Year 8 broke the Junior Girls 100m ( a record that has stood since 1977) and she also broke the Junior Girls 200m. She will still be a Junior girl next year so every possibility of breaking them again next year. Olivia Sayer (D) Year 9 broke the Junior Girls triple jump record by quite a distance – 90cm!
