Students dive into House Swimming Gala!

Students dive into House Swimming Gala!

The inaugural Park School Swimming Gala was yet another brilliant showcase of our students excellent skill set and phenomenal attitude. There was a ‘pool’ of talent on display ranging from those with a wealth of experience as well as some students ‘diving’ into a fresh new challenge. All students represented themselves, their house and the school fantastically whilst in the pool and within the local community. There was however only one clear winner this year and the wave of the colour green blew all other houses out of the water with a resounding victory. A special mention goes to Libby Rook of Drake house as she was the only swimmer this year to break a historic record dating back to 1976 in the 1x Length Backstroke in a time of 17.34. The record was previously held by Becky Palmer at 17.60.
Congratulations to Raleigh house and all swimmers that took part.
