Y10 Film Studies students visit Cinema Museum

On 18th June twenty Year 10 Film Studies pupils went on a day trip to the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum at Exeter University, one of the biggest museums of cinema artefacts in the country. They were given a guided tour before going into Exeter city setting where they had a private screening of the gritty, youth drama Blue Story at the Exeter Phoenix. All pupils behaved exceptionally well on what was an informative and enjoyable trip where they clapped at the end of the film performance and, some, had the good fortune of meeting the legendary Henry Winkler (Arthur ‘The Fonz’ Fonzarelli) in the local Tesco, a very happy stroke of luck that added to a great day!
