Friends of Park

Friends of Park raises vital funds for school but due to COVID our team of volunteer parents haven’t been able to organise our usual activities in school.  However due to the School Lottery, Easyfundraising and Amazon Smile, as a school community Friends of Park have still managed to raise over £2000!

You can easily help raise much needed funds by participating in any or all of the below.

As an example – when purchasing a new Cooker from Argos and going direct to the Easyfundraising app, then selecting Argos and making your purchase at no extra expense it would raise £8.16 for the school.

As an example – if you shop via Amazon Smile and make a purchase for £50, Amazon Smile will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price, which would be 25p.  Every little bit adds up.

The Friends of Park have had great success raising funds for projects to enrich the school environment.

In 2009-2011 the impressive sum of £23000 was raised for the School Hall Lighting Project.

In 2015-2016 the Friends of Park donated £3000 to the School Council for students to decide what they would like to spend the money on. The students bought picnic tables, table tennis tables and contributed to our new Digital information screens around the school.

In 2016-2018 Friends of Park’ funded • ICT Bit:Bot robots • Go Kart STEM Project • LGBT+ Badges • Red Box Project • Green Power project • Defibrillator • Water cooler & installation • Maths Calculators • Safety boots • Dry Robes • Art Aprons • Geography • PE Club • Year 7 quad • Sports Leader Fleeces • PE Sports Trophies • PE Girls Rugby shirts • Benches • Gym Leotards • Attendance awards • Info screen
